「新碟」Cartel -- Cycles
Intro：Cartel是来自亚特兰大的一支punk乐队，成立于2002年，成员有Will Pugh(vocalist), Joseph Peppers(guitarists), Nic Hudson(guitarists), Ryan Roberts(bassist), Kevin Sanders(drummer)。在04年签约Militia发行了一张EP- The Ransom，到2005年才正式发行了第一张专辑Chroma。
乐队风格比较偏流行，又带些吟游诗人的感觉。作品的主题都是爱和生活这些最容易俘获人心灵的内容。所以很容易被人接受。主唱Will Pugh曾开玩笑说自己只追求在Pop-Punk道路上走一小步就很让自己满意了，但旋律优美的Chroma看来正带着Cartel在punk正确的道路上大步的前进着。
Cartel announced that they would be working on a new album during the summer of 2008 with Wind-up Records rather than Epic Records. The band also mentioned “I think we've written or entertained the idea of about 30 songs at this point”, and of those thirty songs "The Perfect Mistake" is confirmed to be on the album. Will Pugh said in an interview the third album would be coming out in the spring or summer of 2009. In May 2009, the band stated that they are currently in the writing and recording stage, and that fans could expect an album in early fall.
On July 8, the band announced that the album would be called "Cycles", while the name of the single is "Let's Go", a song similar to those on their previous album, "Chroma". "Let's Go" was released digitally on July 28, 2009.
On August 25, 2009 the band announced the tracklist for the upcoming album; Cycles will be released October 20, 2009 through Wind-Up Records.
On September 6, The Perfect Mistake was released for digital download.
